Details:  The mk 2 Cortina was slightly larger than the mk 1 but a Lotus version was developed and used successfully in competition.  The Cortina mk2 was built entirely by Ford who fitted engines and other components supplied by Lotus.  It was launch in 1967 as Cortina Lotus and in 1968 renamed Cortina Twin Cam to bring in line with Escort Twin Cam.  Production ceased in July 1970 by which time 4,032 had been built.  An excellent scale model decorated in anchor blue (only one of only five in Anchor Blue, a special order colour) and silver wheels.  Other trims are finished in black and silver.  The interior is finished in black with RHD steering wheel.
