Details:  The RS2000 was the last mk 1 RS Escort to be announced and was created by fitting the mk 3 Cortina’s SOHC 2 litre engine into the small nimble Escort.  It was unveiled on July 4^th 1973  and 5,334 were produced in eighteen months.  The model shown here was first registered on October 18^th 1973 by a Finchley based Ford dealer.  An excellent scale model decorated in daytona yellow with thin black strip and silver wheels.  Other trims are finished in chrome, black and silver.  Features working wheels.  The interior is finished in black with black steering wheel and dashboard.  The Ford lettering is finely replicated on the rear with Escort RS2000.
