Details:   The mk4 Cortina was based on the existing mk3 platform but sported a totally new body.  The 2.3 litre was made in relatively small numbers, but the 2 litre was the defacto top model for company car users and was luxuriously equipped for its era featuring wood veneer dashboard, vinyl roof, cut pile carpet and luxury cloth seating.  An excellent scale model decorated in signal orange with brown roof and silver wheels.  Other trims are finished in black and silver.  The interior is finished in brown with black dashboard and RHD steering wheel.  Features working wheels.  The Ford badge is finely replicated in the distinctive radiator grille and extends to the rear with the lettering Cortina 2.0 Ghia.  Model is presented on a removable plinth with a removeable hard plastic cover.
